PLAYGROUND SEATING AND SHADE UPGRADES

FUNDING GOAL: $60K

 It’s an exciting year at CSPS! 🎉

Our new decking is almost complete, and we’re about to kick off works behind the Kindy block - we can’t wait to see these spaces come to life. These are the kinds of upgrades that make a real difference, not just now, but for generations of students to come.

Next on our wishlist? Seating and shade across the school. 🌿
In our recent community survey, this came through loud and clear as a priority. Right now, there simply aren’t enough shaded seats for students to sit, eat lunch, or spend time with friends.

Our goal is simple: more shaded seating, where students can comfortably sit and take a break. With your support, we can make that happen.

Of course, bringing these ideas to life comes down to funding. The good news is - we’re already on our way! The P&C has contributed funds through previous fundraising, and now it’s time for our biggest event of the year…

This much-loved event is not only a celebration of reading, but a powerful way for our community to come together and support meaningful upgrades around the school. Every page turned helps build spaces our community will enjoy for years to come.

The below explains the breakdown but in short we are proposing to fund 3 heavy duty umbrellas, 2 double tables with benches and 14 curved wooden seats in serpentine shape. We will look to prioritise shade and tables then move on to the chairs as budget allows.
