They adjust to fit both round and square posts from 16cm using the basic post protector to 20cm in diameter or 62cm in circumference using the extra panels which are included, and are made from universal safety padding that is 180cm in height. The surface is smooth, durable vinyl with seamless joints.
Using the multiple sets of padding the maximum size of a post the post protector will cover is unlimited as all pieces join firmly along the hook and loop edges.
This set includes multiple sections of different lengths: 5x connected sections, 2x connected sections, 1x individual section. Refer to images. Not sold separately. The purpose of the protector is for it to be installed around poles and posts within the playground environment. The advantage of the protector is that it increases the diameter of the pole so that it increases the visual area, making it more prominent and reducing the risk of children coming into contact with the pole when playing. In the instance of a child coming into contact, the foam design will provide a degree of impact attenuation and shock absorbency, reducing the level of impact compared to direct contact with a wooden, concrete or metal pole. With the smooth, durable vinyl surface and foam insert, this pole protector is fully adjustable with hook and loop fasteners.
This design also has the advantage of being able to work with covering ever larger poles, as multiple post protectors can be added and will connect to each other to cover larger diameters.
