Join a group ride or make your own way for Ride to School Day!

On Friday 20 March, more than 350,000 students across Australia will ride, walk, scoot or skate to school. Leave the car at home and start the day the active way with friends.

You’re welcome to join one of the group rides or travel independently.

⚠️ Please note: This is not a supervised event. Students must be accompanied by an adult unless they already have permission to travel to school independently.

🔧 Free bike tune-ups – The City of Sydney team will be at school from 8:15am offering quick bike checks and minor tune-ups.

🌿 Warm welcome! Our Environmental Warriors will be cheering riders on at the Denham Street gates. Thanks to Omafiets, we have 10 kids’ water bottles to raffle—enter when you arrive!

🚸 A small favour: If you’re arriving by car that morning, we’d really appreciate families keeping the top gate area clear where possible so riders can arrive safely.
