Playground Wishlist

Thanks to the incredible support of our school community, we were thrilled to fully fund our teachers’ wishlists this year using $8,500 raised through the Readathon! These funds went directly towards purchasing new textbooks, decodable readers, whiteboards, and essential classroom resources—a fantastic result that has had a direct impact on student learning.

We have been working to upgrade the playground surface for safety and the area behind the kindy block for a while now and are still working through some complex processes. In the meantime we are turning our focus to updating our drinking stations for which we have approval and could have installed as soon as Term 4.

What we’re wishing for and why:

New Bubblers Installation

• Upgraded bubbler near the hall: This would replace the current unit and include bottle-filling stations and a chiller, making it easier for students to stay hydrated. Our current bubblers can be temperamental and are very low for taller students. A chiller for their drinks bottles is a pretty nice treat in increasingly hot summers.

• New bubbler on the bottom playground: There is currently no bubbler access in this area, so this installation would provide hydration for students during play and sport and also for our before and aftercare students.
